While a new pair these sneakers don’t come cheap (the average pair costs around $200), one enthusiast spent a whole lot more than that at an auction.
The Nike Air Ships worn by Jordan during his rookie season in 1984-1985 sold to the anonymous buyer for $71,533. They were previously owned by a former Los Angeles Lakers ball boy.
